You will get to see one of the biggest markets in Vientiane called the “Dongmakkhai”market It is certainly the most authentic fresh produce market in the capital and is barely visited by foreigners.
Lunch will be served at one of the favorite places of the inhabitants of Vientiane capital, Ban Tha Ngnon! Local people like to come out here during the weekends to eat and drink on a private boat, while navigating the Nam Ngum River.
In the afternoon, visit the Lao Conservation Center. Laos’ first and only multi-species rescue, conservation and education.
During 1h30 an English-speaking guide will allow you to understand the dangers faced by the fauna of Laos.
Return to Vientiane at the end of the afternoon.

The first visit of the day is the Lao National Museum. It is also known as the National History Museum of Laos. It's a great way to learn about the history, culture and people of Laos. Although the range of artefacts and photographs are very large, for a national museum there are nonetheless some fascinating pieces here . The focus is on the struggle for independence and the introduction of communism.

After about a 30 minute drive we arrive at the 'Dongmakkhai' market. It is certainly the most authentic fresh produce market in the capital.
Tha Ngon
After that departure for one of the favorite places of the inhabitants of the capital, Ban Tha Ngnon. We will have lunch in the fresh air as close as possible to the water. Lunch is taken on a private boat while navigating the Nam Ngum River.
