This captivating San Juan shore excursion commences at the Ponce cruise ship port. A warm welcome awaits you from our friendly driver just outside the cruise ship terminal. Step into a comfortable, air-conditioned private vehicle, embarking on a 1.5-hour journey through the scenic beauty of Puerto Rico. Our tours are meticulously synchronized with your ship's docking times, ensuring a prompt start and a timely return to the port with ample time to spare before your ship's departure. Please note that San Juan is a significant distance from the port, allowing limited time for exploration. This excursion includes a tour with a licensed guide, as well as a brief shopping and lunch break. However, due to time constraints, extensive shopping or a sit-down meal may not be possible.
The statue of Juan Ponce de León was erected in the Plaza de San José in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 1882. In 2022, the statue was vandalized and torn down by protesters, but was quickly reinstalled.
Paseo de La Princesa (Spanish for Promenade of the Princess) is a pedestrian promenade in San Juan, Puerto Rico located in the city's historic district. The promenade is lined with adorned lamp posts and extends for a quarter of a mile along the southern city walls of Old San Juan. It is named after the former La Princesa Prison which is now a historic building that houses the Puerto Rico Tourism Company. The site hosts street vendors, a restaurant and magnificent views of Old San Juan and its bay.
