Itinerary
The distance from Da Nang Airport to Phong Nha by private car is approximately 315 km. It will take you about 6 hours to transfer. It’s really a long trip. But, on the way, we can stop to visit many sights throughout the course. Our driver will greet you at the arrival gate of Da Nang Airport with a welcome sign printed your name. Details of trip: Departure for Phong Nha. First, stop to visit the Hai Van Pass (Cloud Pass). It is the natural border between Da Nang and Hue with 20 km long. The top of the pass is about 500 m above sea level. From this position you can take a panoramic view of the city of Da Nang. Continue to Lang Co Beach – one of the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam. Lang Co Bay is Vietnam’s third largest bay in the top 30 most beautiful ocean bays in the world. You can rest here to stroll freely by the sea, swim and drink a cold coconut before continuing your journey. In addition, you can stop at many local restaurants for lunch with fresh seafood. Upon arrival in Quang Tri Province, we can stop to visit Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River. This is a remnant of the monument that divided Vietnam into two areas during the Vietnam War. Before transfer to Phong Nha, we can visit Vinh Moc tunnels. This is a complex used by the North Vietnamese Army to fight the Americans during the Vietnam War and by the civilian population to protect themselves from American bombing.
