The bridge carries road traffic over the Pétrusse River, connecting the Boulevard Royal in Ville Haute with the Avenue de la Liberté in Gare, Luxembourg. With a width of 17.2 meters, it contains 4 lanes, 3 to Gare and a bus lane to Villa Haute, and also has two sidewalks for pedestrians.

We will observe the majestic Statue of Liberty of Luxembourg and its fascinating history. The Monument of Remembrance (French: Monument du souvenir; known by the nickname Gëlle Fra which in Luxembourgish means "Golden Lady") is a war memorial in Luxembourg City, in southern Luxembourg. It is dedicated to the thousands of Luxembourgers who volunteered for service in the armed forces of the Allied Powers during World War I. The Gëlle Fra is located on the Place de la Constitution, in the Ville Haute area of central Luxembourg City. The centerpiece of the monument is a 21-meter-high obelisk made of granite.
