Your tour begins at The Big Sweep, the iconic broom and dustpan sculpture outside the Denver Art Museum.
You'll step inside a 19th-century mansion to explore the Center for Colorado Women’s History, where powerful stories of the women who shaped the West bring a fresh perspective to the Great Expansion.
Next, you'll visit the Colorado State Capitol, a striking 19th-century building where you can stand exactly one mile above sea level and learn about the state’s political and architectural history.
You will make your own way to the meeting points
Dress Standard Wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you can walk in. Weeather The summer months can be especially hot, so please bring sunscreen and a hat. In winter be sure to dress warm, as we’ll be outside for a majority of the tour. Additional Information In the event of a site closure, we will do our best to replace it with a similar alternative. Suitable for all ages and fitness levels, but please note that this tour covers 3.2 to 4.8 km (2 to 3 miles) of walking.
