Guests can walk along the free-access area, which includes the enormous cross, a landmark visible from afar. From this vantage point, you'll enjoy breathtaking views over the west coast of Rhodes and the Aegean Sea—perfect for stunning photographs. The area is also home to numerous peacocks, known for their colorful plumage and friendly behavior, offering fantastic photo opportunities For those interested in history and culture, there is an optional visit to the archaeological site and monastery, located within a ticketed area. By purchasing an entrance ticket on-site, guests can explore: The Monastery of Filerimos, a peaceful religious site with deep historical roots Ancient ruins and structures that reflect the island’s medieval and classical past This dual experience allows guests to enjoy both natural beauty and cultural heritage at their own pace and preference.
Valley of the Butterflies
Discover the enchanting Butterfly Valley, a unique nature reserve on the island of Rhodes. Walk along shaded paths surrounded by lush greenery, wooden bridges, and flowing streams. The valley is home to the rare Panaxia Quadripunctaria butterflies, which cover the trees during the summer months, especially in July and August, creating a truly magical atmosphere. As you explore, enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature and the cool microclimate created by the dense vegetation and water springs. The butterflies are most active in the early morning or late afternoon, offering great opportunities for observation and photography. There are free-access walking areas in the valley, but visitors wishing to explore the main butterfly reserve must pay a small entrance fee on-site. - Entrance to the Butterfly Valley costs €6 per person for the main protected area. A smaller free-access zone exists nearby, but it does not include the butterflies' habitat or the full trail.
- Filerimos archeological site, entrance fee for kids from 0 to 18 is free. For EU citizen from 0- 25 is free. All the rest areas of the filerimos hill is free of charges. Entrance is not oblicated

We offer pick-up from most major hotels along the main road. One day before your excursion, you will receive an email with the exact pick-up time and detailed location, including a Google Maps link and clear instructions to ensure a smooth and stress-free start to your experience. Please be ready at the designated spot at least 5 minutes prior to the scheduled time. Our vehicle will display a visible SIGMA sign at the front for easy identification.
