Dawn Between Vapors: Discover the Magic of Tatio Geysers
Experience one of the most striking experiences in northern Chile with an excursion to the geothermal field of El Tatio, the third largest in the world and one of the most impressive natural treasures of the Andean highlands. Located more than 4,200 meters above sea level, this place offers a unique natural spectacle that begins before dawn, when the combination of extreme cold and volcanic activity results in plumes of steam emerging from the earth like ancestral gasps.
Upon arrival, you will find dozens of boiling geysers, thermal pools and fumaroles that transform the landscape into a surreal setting, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and endless skies. The early departure has a purpose: it is at dawn that the contrast in temperature creates the largest and most dramatic plumes of steam, offering a visual spectacle that looks like it was taken from another planet.

The Tatio is one of the most visited places in the Atacama Desert. In this area, we will closely admire the constant vapor eruptions of the more than 100 small craters that form the third largest geyser field in the world. We will stroll by the thermal pools and enjoy a delicious breakfast while contemplating geothermal activity at dawn. You'll fall in love!
After gathering strength, we will leave behind the spectacular landscapes of the geyser field of El Tatio to travel to the Laguna de Machuca, where we will see a wetland inhabited by a variety of birds of the highlands such as flamingos and ducks
