Host introduction: Hello everyone, I am Lao Jiang, the food host of Eatwith in Lijiang. More than a decade ago, when I traveled to Lijiang, I was attracted by the scenery here and decided to stay. Lijiang is generally above 2,000 meters above sea level. For most travelers, "altitude sickness" or "lack of oxygen" should be the first reaction of the body, but I feel unlimited freedom and refreshing breathing. After staying for a while, I decided to build a home for myself here - [Breathing·Home at the foot of the snow-capped mountains], and became one of the first homestay owners in Lijiang. Here we have received tourists from all over the world, and also made friends from all over the world, and saw the joys and sorrows of different people. I am also an authentic food lover, so I started to cook my own private dishes in the small courtyard, hoping that the families who come to breathing can experience the taste of home with me and feel the warmth of home.

Experience introduction: My home is at the foot of Haitang Mountain outside the north gate of Shuhe Ancient Town. There are lawns, flowers and various fruit trees that can be picked by yourself. Facing the mountain view, it is connected with the swimming pool and tea room. It is like a fairyland after the rain. There are rammed earth walls, Naxi beds, old wood, red wine, candlelight, and cigars in my home. "Breathing" integrates all my imaginations of a quality home, just like the fusion and harmony of Naxi culture and Western culture in my heart.

"There are many ways to know the world. Building an interesting house in a favorite place and gathering a group of interesting people must be the best way." This is my ideal and my current lifestyle. Whether guests come or not, the candles on the table are lit at any time, waiting for an encounter or confession with a sense of ritual. I love foreign wine but I love Chinese food more, so my home only provides "Western Chinese food". There is no routine of chicken essence and MSG here, only the original sincerity. While enjoying the aesthetics of the table, you can recall your childhood taste buds.
