Arch of Galerius

Our journey starts from Thessaloniki and our appointment is in front of a well-known monument of our city the arch of Galerius at 8:30 am. It is an impressive monument of the 4th century AD constructed in honor of the Roman emperor Galerius, in order to celebrate his victories and integrate the city into the Roman network. From this point we will start our all-day adventure, those who do not have an appointment to pick them up from another point. The journey from Thessaloniki to Dion is about 1.30 hours

Our hike to the mythical mountain of Olympus starts from Orlias at about 10:00 a.m. After about 2 hours of hiking on a path of unparalleled beauty with amazing vegetation and running waters, almost all the way, we reach the magnificent waterfall of the Red Rock 20m high. The ascent is gentle and continuous, reaching an altitude of 570m at this point, it's time to rest, since we will have covered a distance of about 5 km. On the way back, about 1.30 hours downhill.

  • At 144 Egnatia street is Galerius' Immaculate, a well-known monument of Thessaloniki. There the driver will be waiting for you to start our route to Dion where we will arrive in about an hour. , your driver will come to pick you up, wearing a black blouse.
