Set off on a scenic 5.8-mile hike to the summit of Mt. Cutler, where breathtaking views of the canyon, Seven Falls and the Colorado Springs skyline await. Starting at the bottom of lush North Cheyenne Cañon, we'll follow Cheyenne Creek for two miles and then tackle the gentle inclines and rocky terrain to reach the top. This moderate hike, with an elevation gain of 1,007 ft, is perfect for intermediate hikers looking to enjoy the beauty of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. When you arrive at the meetup location, you'll check in, meet your guide, and get an overview of the hike. The hike starts with a scenic, easy walk along Cheyenne Creek before beginning the ascent to the summit of Mt. Cutler. On the hike up to the summit, you'll enjoy incredible views of the canyon, Seven Falls, the Colorado Springs skyline and the surrounding Front Range mountains. At the summit, there will be a longer break to soak in the amazing 360 degree views, take lots of photos, and just enjoy the beauty and peacefulness. The descent follows the same trail, but you'll feel like you're enjoying a whole new set of views!
