Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi)
Picked up in your hotel lobby at 7:30am and visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, the most important panda scientific research center in the world. You will walk at leisure through the bamboo-framed paths and closely observe giant pandas of different ages eating bamboos, playing with each other, tumbling, and climbing trees. Sichuan cuisine is famous throughout China and you will have the opportunity to try it in a local non-tourist restaurant. Please let the guide know if you don't eat something spicy.
Leshan Giant Buddha (Da Fo)
Then drive about 2 hours to see the Leshan Giant Buddha. With a height of 71 meters, it is the largest carved statue of Buddha in the world. You have the chance to walk on steps to take a close look of the Giant Buddha Statue.
