Also previously known as the malay quoter, the bokaap is a heritage site under unesco protection. With its colorful houses and corbern streets, the area is inhabited by descendants of slaves who were brought to the mother city (Cape Town) by the Dutchs in the late 1600s. The area is predominantly occupied by muslims. It celebrates the long journey of Islam in southern hemisphere. Inside bo kaap you'll find the Uwal mosk, the oldest mosk in South Africa, plus many more of its kind. All houses are colorful as a celebration of a true rain rainbow nation as per Nelson Mandela's wish. Although there is more stories to tell about those colorful houses. Our first stop will indeed take us here. Enjoy a cook sister, samoosa, or pop in one of the art and gallery shops, the spice shop, take pictures of colorful houses or mosks before departure to the next stop.
After the bo kaap, the tour will take us through Cape Town stadium in Green Point where the semi final was played when South Africa was given a chance to organize the soccer world cup in the year 2010. We will then proceed, passing the oldest light house in South Africa located in Mouille point, pass Sea Point, Bantry bay, Clifton known to have the most expensive properties in South Africa then have our second stop at Maiden's cove. This stop is to allow visitors to appreciate Camps bay beach and the twelve apostle mountains located at the back of table mountain. After this stop we will proceed to Hout bay going through Camps bay(the most popular beach on the west of the city of Cape Town), Landduno as well. All these are porche beach towns know as the Atlantic Seaboard en route to Hout bay(a small fishing town on the way to Chapman's peak)
Hour bay is a small fishing town in Cape Town South Africa. We will stop here during our round tour for two reasons: 1) There is a small market for hand crafted souvenirs where visitors enjoy bargaining with locals to grab a few souvenirs to take back to loved ones at home. 2) There is a 50 minutes optional trip to the seals island departing from the this harbor every here and then. The Duinker Island as it is known hosts more than 3000 seals. Boats often take visitors there to appreciate Cape Town marine. Although it is an optional for clients to decide going for this activity, I guarantee you that it is so amazing. Visitors pay their own boat tickets. 3) Take pictures of the fishing boats and private yacht with the background of constantiaberg mountains, go to bathrooms before proceeding to the Chapman's peak view point.
