Plaza de Mayo

This tour invites you to explore the historic center of the city, starting with its most important area: Plaza de Mayo, where the presidential palace known as Casa Rosada and the Metropolitan Cathedral are located. We will walk on the famous Santiago Calatrava “Women’s bridge” and along the beautiful canal of Puerto Madero where frigate Sarmiento is now docked. In this neighborhood we’ll learn about the great development of Buenos Aires at the end of the XIX century and how it turned into the cosmopolitan city it is today. We will also discover why its streets honor some of the most amazing latin american women.
