This is a unique opportunity to explore traditional culture and cuisine. Travel inland from the port in Buenos Aires and discover the culture through food, in this Argentinian cooking class in a local home, in El Talar. After a refreshing welcome drink and a selection of local snacks, step into Constanza's lush green backyard, where she'll unveil the Argentine barbecue. Learn to slow-cook meats and vegetables over Quebracho wood, a key ingredient with a distinctive flavor. In your authentic Argentine asado experience, discover the different cuts of meat, explore various cooking techniques, and sample a variety of mouthwatering sauces. Then, gather around the dining table, whether indoors or outdoors, to indulge in a delicious asado meal prepared by Constanza and her family. Savor the rich flavors of grilled meats paired with traditional accompaniments, and treat your taste buds to a sweet finale with desserts like caramel-filled crepes or mini rogel cakes, served alongside coffee or tea. As your Buenos Aires shore excursion comes to a close, we will ensure your safe return to port, leaving you with memories of an authentic Argentine barbecue experience to savor for years to come.
