You will enter the castle area through Vienna Gate, one of the old unique entrances to the castle hill. You will listen to marvelous stories about Hungary s history and modern life while enjoying the wonderful view over the Buda side.
Then the tour will then take you to the Matthias Church, where you will examine its unusual colorful roof decorated with ceramics and learn why it is named after King Matthias. Afterward, you ll climb up the Fishermen s Bastion for a superb view over the Danube, the Hungarian Parliament on the opposite side of the river, and the famous Chain Bridge.
Your journey will continue at the Sandor Palace, the headquarters of the president of Hungary, created in an elegant classical style. Then, you will see the magnificent Royal Palace.
At the end of the tour, you will have a chance to take a walk down to the Gelert Thermal Bath.
