Every shot taken with the pinhole camera is literally unrepeatable: there is no viewfinder or autofocus, just a hole of light that records reality on Fuji instant film. The result is a dreamlike image, blurred at the edges, full of vintage atmosphere — your signature Arezzo postcard. We will walk slowly through medieval squares and hidden alleys; Luca will teach you to read light, choose the frame and calculate the exposure time by hand, transforming photography into an act of meditation. The group of maximum 5 people guarantees space for questions and experimentation. Each participant receives their own set of original prints and a signed pinhole portrait, a souvenir not found elsewhere. No equipment to bring, no skills required: just curiosity and desire to see the world with another time and another look.
Meet Luca in Piazza Guido Monaco and receive a brief introduction to pinhole photography: how the pinhole works, exposure times and composition tips. You will be given a pinhole camera loaded with Fuji instant film—you do not need to bring anything. At a slow pace you will explore the historic center of Arezzo (3-5 stops between Piazza Grande, Logge Vasari and medieval alleys chosen according to daylight). Luca guides you on framing, exposure and creativity in each location; you can take 6-8 color photos that will develop instantly. Along the way Luca will create a personalized portrait for you.
