The Alcatraz Package is a Two-Day, Two-Tour Package containing a 1-Day Guided Bike Tour and 1-Day Official round trip ticket to Alcatraz Island. The day you book is the Alcatraz tour, and the company will apply the day after as the Bike Tour.
- Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito Guided Bike Tour
Follow the guide along the San Francisco waterfront past Aquatic Park, Fort Mason, the Marina, and the Presidio, through Crissy Field and to Fort Point. Riders cross the Golden Gate Bridge on a wide bike path, then through Vista Point to Old Fort Baker. The tour finalizes in Sausalito where riders can enjoy the shops, the many art galleries, and the delicious food. After the guided tour portion, guests may enjoy a BONUS BIKE RIDE returning the bike by closing hours. Many guests will want to return via ferry boat from Sausalito (ferry ticket not included but may be purchased onsite before the start of the tour).

Departing from Pier 33, the boat to Alcatraz serves as a bay cruise and upon arrival to the island. Guests will be outfitted with an audio headset for self-guided touring. Hear all the infamous stories on the 2.5-hour award-winning cell house audio tour while you walk the prison that notorious mobsters and criminals alike, from Al Capone, to “Birdman” Robert Stroud, once called home. Purchase Summary
- To confirm your reservation, kindly provide the first and last name of each guest in your Alcatraz package at the time of booking
- In case of duplicate names, please provide distinguishing details like middle initials, "Jr.," or "Sr."
- Alcatraz packages are non-refundable and non-transferable
- No cancellations will result in any refunds
- Once booked, the departure date or time for Alcatraz cannot be changed
- If the departure time is not known at the time of booking, it will be assigned later. Refunds will not be issued if the assigned departure time is not accepted or if guests arrive at the wrong time or date
- Alcatraz departure times can be between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. The specific time will be provided four days before the tour
- Please ensure that guests understand the uncertainty of the Alcatraz departure time
- The bike tour is suitable for all ages and ranges from beginner to intermediate level
- All guests aged 18 and over must sign a liability waiver at the beginning of each tour
- Travelers under 18 must be accompanied by at least one adult. Please note that travelers must be able to ride their bikes and attachments like double trailers and tagalong bikes are not allowed
- Due to the changing weather in the Bay Area, the local tour operator may decide to cancel a tour up to 30 minutes before it starts
- A monetary authorization of US$100 per regular bike (amount reduced for larger groups) will be taken from your credit card and checked with your corresponding ID at tour check-in
- Refunds or compensation will not be provided to travelers who leave the tour early or miss it entirely due to personal reasons such as late arrival, lack of travel documents, sickness, or accidents
