Akiyoshidai Nature Zoo Safari Land is a safari park-style zoo located in Mine City, Yamaguchi Prefecture
There are over 600 animals of 60 species roaming the naturally diverse landscape and environment
The animals here can live in a semi-natural state with more freedom than they would be given in a regular zoo
You can interact with not only small animals like guinea pigs and rabbits, but also big animals like elephants and kangaroos
In the safari zone, you can watch animals closely by driving your car or joining a safari bus tour, and you will have a chance to feed some of the animals
The park also has a restaurant and an amusement park area with a giant Ferris wheel and roller coasters
