Admission to the Recoletos Room of the Mapfre Foundation in Madrid
For more than three decades, Fundación MAPFRE has been one of the central points of Madrid’s cultural agenda for its exhibitions of Plastic Arts and Photography. Its program includes exhibitions of painting and sculpture focusing on the main protagonists (Renoir, Van Gogh, Picasso, Degas, Chagall, etc.) and the main movements of artistic modernity (Impressionism, Avant-garde, Surrealism, etc.). Photography exhibitions also range from the great masters of the 20th century (Atget, Evans, Winogrand, Strand..) to those who represent the best expression of artistic photography today.
From February 6 to May 11, 2025 you can visit the following temporary exhibitions: 1924. Other Surrealisms and Sakiko Nomura. Tender is the night.

Other surrealisms analyze the reception and influence in Spain of that text and the surrealist movement as a whole. Sakiko Nomura. Tender is the night Known primarily for her male nude photographs, which have represented a challenging break from some traditional taboos and stereotypes of Japanese culture, Sakiko Nomura (1967) is one of the most prominent photographers of her generation.
