We'll explore charming medieval neighbourhoods, indulge in world-class wine tastings, savour delicious regional cuisine, and experience the rich cultural heritage of Barcelona and Spain. Your friendly, fun, and knowledgeable guide, Brendan, will lead you through the Gothic Quarter, beginning at a traditional bodega where we'll sample an ancient pre-digestive called vermut, a perfect palate-opener for the evening ahead. From there, we'll visit one of Barcelona's oldest bakeries to taste a renowned Catalan pastry. Our next stop is a unique wine bar where we'll enjoy four carefully selected high-end wines, paired with cheeses and homemade chocolate. Our expert wine host, Joan, will guide us through the experience, sharing insights into the world of Spanish wines. Finally, we'll head to a local bar to savour a variety of local and Spanish tapas. This tour ventures beyond the typical tourist traps, offering guests an insightful and tasty introduction to Barcelona.

Food Menu

STARTER - Vermut with olives and other small bites.

In Barcelona, before lunch or dinner, locals enjoy an aperitif with small bites like olives and bread rubbed with tomato and olive oil.

STARTER - Xuixo or Orxata

Prior to the wine tasting, we will sample either a freshly baked pastry or a seasonal, natural Mediterranean plant-based sweet drink, Orxata.

STARTER - 4 wines paired with cheeses and homemade chocolates.

Here, our wine expert will guide us through a tasting of four exclusive wines, paired with various cheeses and homemade chocolate.

MAIN - Tapas, known in Barcelona as 'Pica-Pica'

For the grand finale, we'll experience Spanish and local tapas at an authentic, local tapas bar, and discover the Catalan term 'Pica-Pica'.
