They often depict the history and political views of both traditions and are a way of marking territory. These wall paintings often look intimidating but they have become as much of a tourist attraction as many of the regular attractions within Belfast and beyond.

You will find world murals such as Palestine/ANC/Cuba/Republican hand painted by local artist. The wall consist of about 40 different murals that change with world news.
The Bobby Sands Mural in Belfast is a powerful and iconic representation of the legacy of Bobby Sands IRA volunteer ,Hunger striker ,MP an influential figure in the history of Irish Republicanism. This mural is a poignant symbol of the struggle for rights and freedom.
You will stop for a photo outside the Republican remembrance garden and the massive H block hunger strike statue.
