Cameron Highlands is a perfect getaway for those who wish to retreat into the highlands to enjoy the cool fresh mountain air and the green hills. Named after the British Surveyor, William Cameron who discovered the place in 1885, the tea cultivated is among one of the best in the Country. Those who wish to do some activities can enjoy drinking tea in quaint English style tea houses or take a drive to the top of the mountain for a breathtaking view of the hills. You can also visit the many flower plantations, as exporting flowers is an increasingly important economic activity.
