Believed to be the original landing point of portuguese discoverer João Gonçalvez Zarco, this parish name is a derivation for "seals" (Lobos Marinhos). Famously known for it's beautifull fishing bay and a place where Churchill once visited and made one of his paintings. We stop on the view point "PICO DA TORRE"
The highest skywalk cliff in Europe, made of transparent glass providing stunning views to its visitors. This diamond-shaped sea-cliff is at 589 meters above sea level. This location also provides amazing views over Câmara de Lobos and Funchal.
Located along the southern coast, this parish gained its name due to its river, which translates to "angry river". A scenic parish encompassed by mountains and turned to the sea is a place not to miss.
