Most of the journey is on a comfortable midi-coach, except for the 2-hour Jacobite Steam Train ride in the morning. Your guide will ensure a smooth boarding at Fort William station. Upon arrival in Mallaig, your guide will be waiting to assist you. After lunch, the return trip to Glasgow will be by coach
Please note that the coach is not equipped with onboard toilets; however, the itinerary includes regular comfort stops, ensuring frequent access to restroom facilities
Please return to the coach on time at itinerary stops, as the coach cannot wait for late passengers. The guide will display the departure time on a visible clock
Please note that seating together cannot be guaranteed for those who have booked together, as the operator does not assign specific seats
If you need transportation from your accommodation to the departure point, please arrange it through the hotel concierge, as customers have reported issues with Uber taxis not showing up
This activity is wheelchair-accessible
Guides are unable to assist with wheelchairs or provide physical help during boarding or disembarking
Passengers must be able to use the access stairs independently or with a companion's help
Foldable wheelchairs can be stored in the luggage area, but please note that some stops may have rough terrain or steps
Due to the age and design of the steam trains, boarding in a wheelchair is not possible. However, disabled passengers are welcome if they can step from the platform onto the train and reach their seats with the assistance of an able-bodied caregiver
Foldable wheelchairs can be stored at the end of the carriage. Please note that some platforms on the routes are shorter than the train, requiring a walk through multiple carriages, and certain remote stations may have low platforms or access only by footbridge, which could pose challenges for those with mobility issues
The operator cannot accommodate motorized scooters, buggies, or electric wheelchairs at any time
The operator provides audio guides to assist those who do not speak English as a first language
Audio commentary is available in Chinese, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, and French
All passengers must have travel insurance covering their travel dates, including trip interruption, personal injury, medical expenses, evacuation, and repatriation, even during pandemic events
