Itinerary

Parque Colon

We start the tour in the Parque Colón, where the statue of Christopher Columbus and the First Cathedral of America are located. Here we can learn about the history of the square and the cathedral, which dates back to the 16th century and is one of the oldest on the continent.

A few steps from the park, we will visit the Casa de Tostado, a 16th century colonial mansion that has been restored and is one of the best examples of colonial architecture in Santo Domingo. Duration: 30 minutes. Entrance included

Continuing our tour, we will walk through the oldest street in America, which owes its name to the noble ladies who used to walk along it in colonial times. Here we can admire the colonial houses, their balconies and their interior patios.
