Triglav is Slovenia’s national symbol and pride, which we carry in our hearts as well as on our flag. It is located in our only national park with the same name, called Triglav National Park. This mountain highlights the importance of alpinism for us Slovenians and is also considered a Slavic god in our old pagan belief.
This is the most popular ascent in our country, but not the easiest one, therefore it is strongly recommended that you hire a qualified mountain guide.
You will experience the vastness of the Slovenian landscape below, as well as its compactness, as you’ll even be able to see Austria, Italy, the Swiss Matterhorn, and the Adriatic Sea.
The tour takes two days with eight hours of walking. If you like to take it easy and enjoy every step, this tour is for you.
