Islas de Rosario
Choose from three distinct ticket options for your Rosario Islands experience: Leisure, Party, or Catamaran. All tours begin at Muelle de la Bodeguita, where a quick and seamless check-in leads to boarding either a shuttle speedboat or a catamaran for a scenic 45-minute ride across the bay. During the journey, Leisure and Party guests enjoy a panoramic view of the historic San Fernando Fort in Bocachica, while Catamaran ticket holders have a full visit to the fort (entry included for a more immersive cultural experience). For the first island stop, Leisure guests arrive at a peaceful, family-oriented resort perfect for unwinding and enjoying the crystal-clear waters, while Party guests head to a lively beach club on Barú Island, celebrated for its upbeat vibe and social energy. Catamaran guests continue with a guided snorkeling session in a crystal-clear lagoon, the only tour option that includes snorkeling equipment such as masks and floaters.

All ticket holders will then visit a beach club where they can continue swimming, sunbathing, and relaxing in a stunning Caribbean setting alongside fellow travelers. Leisure and Party guests enjoy complimentary lunch and beach bed access, while Catamaran guests may purchase lunch on-site for approximately $10 USD (not included in the ticket). However, Catamaran customers will find the resort’s premium quality and family friendly atmosphere well worth the out-of-pocket lunch cost.
Islas de Rosario
Finally, Catamaran ticket holders will return to Cartagena aboard the comfortable vessel, taking in scenic views of the city’s bay - an ideal moment for photos and a peaceful end to the experience. The catamaran is scheduled to arrive back around 3:30 PM. Speedboat guests will conclude their day with a third island stop. Leisure ticket holders will continue enjoying beach beds and calm waters, while Party ticket guests will visit Cholón Island (please note that Cholón is often loud, crowded, poorly maintained, and overpriced, so we recommend choosing your ticket accordingly). We recommend arriving 10 minutes early, the guides will arrive at 8AM. Please account for traffic. Uber is the best way to get around, please type as your destination: 'Muelle de la Bodeguita - Puerta 1' to arrive exactly where you should be and easily identify the statue.
