Carlyle House Historic Park, with its long and tragic history, remains a significant location on this street, even though the house itself no longer stands. As we walk along this haunted spot, you'll discover what makes it one of the most infamous paranormal hotspots in Alexandria.
As we walk along The Shafer Home, you'll learn about its history of hosting various businesses and spirits. Owners have reported smelling smoke inside, which is no surprise given that someone tragically died in a fire within the building.
Alexandria City Hall & Market SquarePass-by Only
As we stroll by Alexandria City Hall, you'll hear about the infamous "Devil Bat" associated with the site. Though the bat's history remains a mystery, it's said to cause chaotic or erratic behavior, and it continues to make appearances to this day.
