Takachiho Gorge
Takachiho Gorge, located in Miyazaki, Japan, is famous for its stunning volcanic cliffs and clear river. Visitors can enjoy boat rides to view the majestic Manai Falls up close or take a peaceful walk along scenic trails. A must-visit spot for nature lovers!
At Nagashi Somen Chiho-no-ie, you can enjoy a unique dining experience with flowing somen noodles and savor the famous Miyazaki beef. Meals are self-paid.
At Amaterasu Railway, you can enjoy a scenic ride on the aerial mini train. Tickets are self-paid. Important Notice Sun Railway does not operate on the third Thursday of each month. If you wish to experience it, please avoid this day. Holiday Periods: Golden Week: April 26th – May 6th Obon Festival: August 8th – August 18th If the steam train is unavailable due to severe weather (typhoons, heavy rain) or Japanese holidays, tickets cannot be purchased, and the tour will be redirected to Takachiho Shrine instead.
