Castel Sant'Angelo
Castel Sant’Angelo, originally built as Emperor Hadrian’s mausoleum, later served as a papal fortress and prison. Its rooftop terrace provides panoramic views of the Tiber River and the Vatican.
Area Sacra di Largo Argentina
Largo di Torre Argentina is home to the ruins of four ancient Republican temples and the site where Julius Caesar was assassinated. Today, it also serves as a cat sanctuary, where Rome’s stray felines roam among the ruins.
