Boca del Diablo
The Boca del Diablo (Devil's Mouth) in Las Galeras is a natural geological phenomenon in which the sea rushes in, forming a jet of water that can rise to several meters high. It is a high hole at the top of a cliff over looking the ocean. When the sea is calm it is the wind which rushes in and it makes a castling sound hence the name "devil's mouth", when the sea is rough it is the waves which rush into the fault and it forms an impressive water jet. The rougher the sea, the higher the water jet, the sea pressure generates jets of water and foam
