Walking tour of the former Warsaw Ghetto. Providing commentary in your native language, your Private Guide will take you back in time to World War II, the darkest moment in the history of Jewish people in Europe. You will get an insight into what happened to Warsaw during the war and see the Monument to the Warsaw Uprising. Nearby, you’ll find traces of the Warsaw Ghetto boundary markers, where over 400,000 Jews from Warsaw and the surrounding areas were imprisoned in Europe's largest ghetto.
You will learn about hunger, disease and death, but also about the heroism and rebellion of the Jewish people. The tour will pass the Monument to the Ghetto Heroes, which commemorates the 1943 Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. The guide will also show you the Anielewicz Mound at Mila 18, which was a hidden shelter of a Jewish resistance group.

The itinerary will be adjusted accordingly. - General admission tickets to the Jewish Cemetery. - We provide tickets for public transport to reach the Jewish Cemetery, as it is outside the city center. - Skip-the-line tickets to POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews let you bypass the ticket office, but not the queue for security and entry. Access is for the permanent collection. - This is a moderate 2,5 -3,5 km walking tour, including some uneven surfaces or steps. The guide will adapt the pace to your group. Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather – the tour runs rain or shine! - For a personalized experience, we keep our private groups small (1-25 guests per guide). Larger groups can book additional guides with us.
