Departure from your apartment/hotel as I will pick you up. Together, we will go on foot or by metro to Paris or Rouen station and then we will take the train towards Vernon/Giverny. Then we will take the bus to go to Monet's house. We will walk to the entrance of Monet's house. We will start the tour with the discovery of the Japanese garden to discover how Monet imagined this garden and to tell you the story of the water lilies and the Japanese bridge. Then we will explore the flower garden. Much of Monet's painting is inspired by his outdoor garden. Finally, we will enter in the famous house of Monet where the painter devoted his passions such as painting, gardening and photography. We will stop in each room to explain their function and admire unusual details. At the beginning of the afternoon, with your guide, you will take the bus and then the train to return to Paris or Rouen.

1 hour journey to go to Giverny. With your personal guide, this half-day excursion will allow you to visit the fabulous house of Claude Monet. With your skip-the-line ticket you will enter the garden with your guide through the special small group entrance! You will have the opportunity to discover the precious collection of Japanese engravings exhibited in several rooms as well as the Japanese garden and the flower garden. Claude Monet's property in Giverny, left by his son to the Academy of Fine Arts in 1966, became, after the completion of large-scale restoration work, the Claude Monet Foundation, inaugurated in 1980. The immense Water lilies studio, a stone's throw from the house, has also been restored and contains the Foundation shop. 1 hour return trip
