A fine example of late eighteenth century Great House construction in Jamaica. With a guided tour of the grounds, you will learn about The Barrett's of Wimpole Street fame who came to Jamaica in the 1660s and amassed great wealth from their sugar plantations.
The famous Rose Hall Great House. Another guided tour here takes you through the grounds, rooms and dungeon of Jamaica's greatest of Great Houses. Immerse yourself in the tales and folklore of the "White Witch of Rose Hall" and her three unfortunate husbands.
On our way back from the Great Houses we make our way through the bustling center of downtown Montego Bay City. Sam Sharpe Square, now a busy town center for locals, gives a historical snapshot of Montego Bay during the 1800's.
