Welcome to our Viking Age Walking Tour! Join us as we explore the rich history and culture of the Vikings, the seafaring warriors who left their mark on the world in the 8th to 11th centuries.
On this tour, you'll learn about the daily lives of the Vikings, their religious beliefs, stories from Norse mythology, and the Viking's epic voyages to far-flung lands. You'll hear about the Icelandic Sagas, tales of battles and conquests and see relics from the Viking age.
Our knowledgeable guide will take you on a leisurely walk through the streets of Reykjavik, sharing stories and insights along the way. You'll visit landmarks related to the Vikings, such as the Settlement Museum, and hear about the role these places played in Viking society.

We will talk about the establishment of the first parliament in the world and it's significance
We will pop into a classic Icelandic bookstore to talk about certain signifant books related to Viking Era, the Icelandic Sagas and more
You can choose to be picked up from a list of locations, or alternatively, have the choice to make your own way to the meeting points
Please arrive at the pick up point 5 minutes before departure time.
We offer pickup from the hotels/accommodations within the specified radius. If you are staying outside of the downtown area we kindly ask you to meet us at Ingolfur Square (by the 2 big stone pillars) We recommend using Google Maps!
