The workshop will be held in Totsuka-ku, Yokohama, a quiet residential area near Kamakura, Sakuragicho, and other sightseeing spots.
Using the “ Original kumihomo-dai” which was invented and put into practical use by the instructor, let's experience making simple, fun, and beautiful accessories.
The instructor, who is active both in Japan and abroad as a handmade accessory artist Please feel free to participate in the workshop.
You will make a bracelet with no clasps and the size can be adjusted by tying it on.
Two sample designs are provided, but you may request your favorite color combination in advance, although thread colors are limited.
Pickup included
We will meet at the ticket gate of Higashi-Totsuka Station on the JR Yokosuka Line. (There is only one ticket gate. It takes about 7 minutes on foot.) After the meeting, we will move to your home and start the lesson. After selecting materials, we will use a kumi-himo stand to assemble the strings into an accessory. The lesson takes about 90 minutes. ****After the lesson, if you have time, we will consult with you about sightseeing spots in Yokohama and Kamakura, souvenirs, etc.****

At the exit of the ticket gate of Higashi-Totsuka Station on the JR Yokosuka Line, We will be waiting for you with a “kumihimo Lesson” placard at the exit of the ticket gate.
