This route visits Cathedral Quarry, Slater Bridge and more wonders of the Little Langdale valley.
The largest cave in the Lake District. A large man-made cavern mined for its slate from the 17th century onwards. This location will feature highly in our tour and is one location we'll stop at to take lots of great photos.
This is a beautifully picturesque glacial valley with the small hamlet of Little Langdale. A mix of farming and mining activity has taken place here for centuries. We'll see where people who lived here worked and what it's now become. This location will feature highly in our tour and encompasses a large area we'll be walking through while taking photographs.
