The Archaeological Park of Paestum, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1998, is undoubtedly one of the main places of interest in the city. Here, in fact, it is possible to admire the majestic Greek temples erected between the sixth and fifth centuries BC, but also the market and the square, typical elements of Greek cities.
The National Archaeological Museum of Paestum is one of the major museums in Italy. The different sections that compose it allow the visitor to retrace the history of the Greek, Lucanian and Roman city. In 2017 the excavations and museum of Paestum were the fifteenth most visited Italian state site, with 441,037 visitors.
After the visit to Paestum and the Museum, you will be accompanied to the farm where you will enjoy all the fresh smells of nature, you will witness the production of mozzarella and then you will taste the local products, concluding with the tasting of the mozzarella.
