Suleymaniye Mosque is a great location that one should visit while in Istanbul. It was built on the order of Sultan Süleyman and constructed by the great Ottoman architect Sinan in the 16th century. During the Ottoman era, Thé imperial mosques were built as mosque complexes, functioning as a foundation for the district to serve religious and cultural needs. In the garden behind the mosque is a terrace offering lovely views of the Golden Horn. The last stop will be Topkapı Palace, home of the Ottoman Sultan and the administration center. It is now a museum and one of the most visited places in Istanbul.

The Hill is also one of the best locations in Istanbul where the migrating birds can be observed. It was built in the 14th century by the Genoese colony as part of the defense wall surrounding their district at Galata directly opposite ancient Constantinople. The Genoese were involved in trade with The Byzantines and the tower was used for the surveillance of the harbor in the Golden Horn. Hezarfen Ahmet Çelebi copied bird wings and studied air flows, and he jumped from the Tower and overflew the Bosphorus finally landed at Üsküdar on the Asian side, around 6 kilometers in distance.
