Greece is the country with the highest consumption of olive oil in the world but the consumer does not know how to choose an extra virgin olive oil. So, during this olive oil tasting the consumer learns to distinguish a qualitative product from a marketplace and tastes fruits or vegetables like tomatoes with different varieties of Greek extra virgin olive oils. After the olive oil tasting, the participant will be able to distingue a qualitative olive oil and pair it with his food.
We taste 4 different varieties of virgin olive oils from all of Greece and we do food pairing with Greek tastes and products. The participant is educated on how to choose an extra virgin olive oil in the market and is in touch with this unique Greek product, the olive oil, which is the base of the Greek Mediterranean diet. The experience has a duration of one hour and a half. Other things to note Please it is important to finish your coffee and your tea 30 minutes before the olive oil tasting and avoid perfumes for not influencing negativity your sense of flavor and taste.
