This is an interesting and off-beat tour of Mumbai by students from a non-profit that works in youth empowerment and learning. The tour starts at the Gateway of India and covers all the must-see places in Bombay. It includes the following: Gateway of India, Regal Circle, Prince of Wales Museum, Kala Ghoda, Bombay University, High Court, Oval Maidan, Churchgate, Mani Bhavan, Marine Drive, and Chowpatty
The tour uses the Mumbai local, BEST buses, and Black and Yellow taxis. The tour provides income for the student-guides.
The tour allows you to see many of the must-sees of the city, visit Dhobi Ghat - an open-air laundromat, experience Mumbai local train, check out local delicacies, and more importantly, it provides an opportunity to see Mumbai through the eyes of young people. The students who do this tour love their city and it comes through during the tour. They are well-trained and knowledgeable about the places you visit on the tour.

A bus ride from Churchgate to Mani Bhavan, Gandhi's home in Mumbai. The bus goes via Marine Drive and Chowpatty, with views of the Arabian Sea.
A train ride to see Dhobi Ghat (the city's unique open-air laundry system)
