Oshino-Hachikai, a natural monument, is a spring pond. Its water source is the subsoil water of Mt Fuji. Oshino-Hachikai possesses the history and legends of an ancient sacred site of the Fuji faith.
"Niikurayama Sengen Shrine" is famous as one of the best spots in Japan for viewing Mt Fuji. The observation deck at the top of the 398-step staircase, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city and the symmetrical Mt. Fuji. Mt. Fuji's appearance with each season throughout spring, summer, fall, and winter, creates a beautiful scene.
Fuji World Heritage Site, "Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine" is a venerable shrine representing Fujiyoshida. Surrounded by thick-trunked cedar forests, you will be greeted by the “Fujiyama Otorii” (Great Gateway to Mt. Fuji) . This wooden torii gate, one of the largest in Japan, will take your breath away with its majestic appearance.
