Moravian Karst Cave Private Guided Tour
Tour of Punkva caves is divided into 2 sections. First section is called dry and it lasts appx. 30 min, during which we are going to explore the history of the cave and admire its calcium carbonate formations. The second part, which lasts another 30 min, is more adventurous but highly safe: a river cruise on an underground river in a cave system, where we will learn about the history of cave exploration and how was the cave accessible to the public.

Punkva Caves
During this half day trip we will go to the heart of the Moravian Karst located only 30 min driving from Brno. The Moravian Karst, with 1100 caverns and gorges, is the most significant karst area in the Czech Republic. The Amatérska Cave is the largest cave system in the Czech republic. There are 5 open caves to the public and we will visit the most popular Punkevní Cave. The tour of the cave takes us to the bottom of the Macocha Abyss at a depth of 138m and we will cruise the underground river of Punkva. Itinerary: - pick up in your hotel - 40 min drive to the Moravian Karst area - pick up tickets from the tourist office Skalni Mlyn 10 min - walking to the entrance of the cave 40 min - cave tour 60 min - time for some refreshments - walking back to car 30 min - drive back to Brno 40 min
