Exploring the Lachine Canal Paddle gently through one of the most beautiful urban stretches of Montreal. You’ll pass by historic buildings, green spaces, and may even encounter ducks, herons, and other local wildlife. Local Interpretation and Anecdotes During the trip, your guide will share interesting facts about the history of the Lachine Canal, its industrial significance, its urban transformation, and the wildlife that surrounds it. Return to the starting point After about 1.5 to 2 hours of adventure, you will paddle back to the starting point, with memories to cherish (and maybe some souvenir photos, if you wish).
