Castello Scaligero
This is one of the castles in Italy that has been preserved the best. It dates back to the time of the Scaliger family and serves as a gateway to the ancient district of Sirmione, which is located on Lake Garda. (Outside Visit)
Its portico has five arches and the church inside has a gabled front. The interior features a single nave, with the hall ending in a two-step elevated presbytery with an umbrella vault that is introduced by a pointed triumphal arc and completed by a polygonal apse.
