Visit the Soweto village homestead, then continue to Curio Workshop where you will witness those who live in Kibera are innovative in making ornaments out of animal bones. Continue with the visits to the nursery schools and pass by to see the water vendor. You will come past Nairobi National Park which is known for many species of wildlife e.g. lions. You can experience game drives too.
Feel welcome in one of the Kibera houses and ask questions about day-to-day life in Kibera. Walk and see a biogas plant, which uses human waste as raw materials in the production of biogas used in cooking, gas as well as lighting about 200 households once it is accomplished and commissioned.
