Durban is the 3rd biggest city in South Africa with a good mix of the Zulu tribe as well as having the biggest population of Indians outside of India.
With this mixture of people comes a great cultural infusion from Zulu traditional meals to Indian curry meals and an infusion of both influences like the very famous chakalaka salad which can be used as exhibit A of how well these 2 cultures complement each other.
On this tour we get to taste a bunny chow, move around the city in the very famous Durban mini buses to get the full local experience, we visit the market and finish up with some street food and a drumming experience which is optional for people who want to immerse themselves in the Zulu culture.
Durban is home to the biggest population of indian people outside of india. at this stop , we get to taste an indian influenced dish (bunny chow) and get to learn how to make it from a simple fusion of spices . this stop has a vegetarian option and i'ts also halaal friendly to accommodate people from all walks of life.
