  • Please be advised that, by New Zealand regulations, guests must obtain a fishing license to participate in this activity. Guests can purchase 24-hour licenses at Fish & Game NZ . If you require more information regarding this, make sure to check-in the office at least 20-minutes prior to the tour time
  • The West Coast salmon fishing season runs from October to March 31st annually, while brown trout fishing is available all year round
  • Transport is provided from the office to the Lake and back for each Lake Tour (approx 10 min drive each way)
  • The tour operates in a fully covered boat
  • Tours require a minimum of 2 adults to operate
  • It is recommended booking a morning tour with kids, as the lake is calmest in the morning
  • The tour operates on rain days if the weather condition deems to be safe, feel free to contact the local knowledgeable team with numbers on the voucher for the most up to date forecast
