Discover the soul of Porto on a walking tour through its oldest neighborhoods. We begin at the square of Henry the Navigator, a local hero and key figure in Portugal’s Age of Discoveries. Walk with us through Ribeira and Barredo, the city’s most historic quarters, and learn how Porto evolved from a medieval town to a vibrant riverside hub. We’ll talk about ancient walls, city gates, and the vital role of the Douro River, the true heart of the city. We’ll also cross to Vila Nova de Gaia, where you’ll hear the story behind the famous Port wine. Along the way, we’ll share local tips on where to eat, drink, and enjoy unforgettable views. You can optionally finish the experience with a tasting of 4 selected Port wines.
