Fabrizio is a chef with many years of experience, his passion for cooking started when he helped his grandmother in the kitchen as a child. In fact, he also ran for a very long time two restaurants and a home restaurant called “Nonna Leo,” named after his grandmother Leonilda
This class will let you discover and enjoy the essence of Ligurian cuisine in an all-around culinary experience. You will have fun together with expert chef Fabrizio, who will show you step by step how to create an entire delicious Ligurian menu with your own hands. You will start with the appetizer, panissa that you will season with oil, lemon and pepper and no less than 3 types of focaccia, the most typical food of the area: one type seasoned with oil and salt, one with onions and one with cherry tomatoes and olives. After that you will move on to the first course, you will learn how to cook gnocchi with Genoese pesto, another characteristic dish of the area. Of course you will make both gnocchi and pesto on the spot. As a second course you will prepare an all-Ligurian delicacy: focaccia di Recco, filled with stracchino cheese, thin and very tasty. Finally as dessert you will prepare Panera and your Ligurian menu will be complete! You can then enjoy it leisurely together with Chef Fabrizio among laughter and chatter and accompanied by a good glass of wine. Quality and satiety are guaranteed!
